ST-26, ST-85 and ST-91 soft leaf buffalo grasses have been bred for slow growing - requiring less mowing, watering and fertiliser. They have excellent shade tolerance, winter dormancy resistance and consistent deep green colour. For an assessment by Richmond TAFE/NSW Agriculture of 18 common varieties of turf with a view to greenness and dormancy mid-winter and the effect of frost, click here. Note that ST26 was found to be "The Best Buffalo at this stage". For a list of Licensed Growers in NSW, click here. To visit the website of the developer of the ST Family of Lawns, click here.
